Purchase Ledger Administrator

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and successful manufacturing business based in Doncaster for a Junior Purchase Ledger Administrator to join their finance team. The Role As a Junior Purchase Ledger Administrator, you will work alongside an experienced finance team and receive full training across a range of purchase ledger and finance administration duties. Your responsibilities will include:
Processing and accurately entering supplier invoices Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery documentation Checking supplier statements and resolving discrepancies Assisting with supplier payments and account queries Maintaining accurate purchase ledger records Liaising with suppliers and internal departments Assisting with general finance and administration Supporting the wider finance team Learning and developing your knowledge of accounting systems and processes About You We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable and keen to learn, with a genuine interest in developing a career within finance.

You don't necessarily need previous purchase ledger experience — attitude and potential are more important. Full training will be provided. Ideally, you'll have:
Excellent attention to detail Good organisational skills Strong communication skills Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel A positive and professional attitude The ability to work well as part of a team A willingness to learn and develop Previous administration, accounts or office experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
