This is not a training position. We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, bring strong technical knowledge and provide high-quality paraplanning support from day one. • Prepare suitability reports and recommendation documentation
• Conduct technical research across pensions and investment products
• Support ongoing client review and servicing activity
• Liaise with providers to obtain information and progress cases
• Manage outstanding tasks and follow-ups efficiently
• Prepare service review documentation and client correspondence
• Assist with specialist investment cases, including VCT business
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and in line with regulatory requirements
• Provide a positive and professional experience for clients throughout the advice process What will you need to succeed?
• Level 4 Diploma qualified or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' paraplanning experience within a financial planning or wealth management firm
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and wealth management advice
• Experience with VCTs and specialist investment planning is desirable but not essential
• Experience researching and writing suitability reports independently
• Knowledge of ongoing client servicing processes and annual reviews
• Excellent attention to detail is essential
• Strong organisational and task management skills
• Confidence liaising with clients and providers by phone and email
