Finance and Governance Manager

Your new role Managing the day-to-day accounting function, ensuring robust financial processes, controls and compliance.

Overseeing payroll and pension operations to ensure accurate and timely processing. Supporting the preparation of annual statutory accounts and financial reporting requirements. Managing relationships with internal and external auditors and coordinating audit activity. Ensuring compliance with relevant financial, governance and regulatory requirements. Supporting risk management processes and wider governance frameworks across the organisation. Providing financial guidance and business partnering support to senior stakeholders.

Assisting with the development and implementation of financial strategies, policies and procedures. Leading, mentoring and developing finance team members to drive performance and continuous improvement. Supporting senior management in financial planning, budgeting and decision-making activities. What you'll need to succeed Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent) with 2 years' post-qualified experience. Strong experience in financial reporting, management accounts and budgeting.

Knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS. Experience supporting strategic decision-making and senior stakeholders. Proven business partnering and stakeholder management skills. Previous experience leading and developing finance teams. Strong communication, organisational and leadership abilities. What you'll get in return Competitive salary package.
