Group Finance Manager

Group Finance Manager/ Group Company Accountant Newry £Neg and competitive Our retained and exclusive client is a long established diverse group which is growing quickly. They are looking to enhance their finance function in house. This is a new group opportunity that will shape and drive a fit for purpose finance function across the business. Reporting to the MD and working as part of the leadership team you will be responsible for the following:

- Developing, enhancing and managing the day-to day financial operations including enhancing controls and processes Manage a well-established accounts team Work closely with the existing team to scope their roles and responsibilities and encourage their professional development Work closely with other operational heads of department, being the go to commercial partner and discussing trading performance site by site with non finance professionals Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts and cash flow projections (P&L, balance sheet and cash flow) with the Managing Director and site leads.

Identify risks, inefficiencies and commercial opportunities, and drive the plans to address them. Support the financial appraisal, funding and structuring of property and development projects, including site expansions and new concepts. Manage banking relationships and support funding and supply agreement negotiations, preparing the financial information lenders and key suppliers require.
