Real Responsibility From day one, you'll contribute to meaningful work within the Management Accounting team, helping to deliver accurate financial information and support informed commercial decision-making. Structured Development Alongside practical experience, you'll follow a structured development programme supported by our Early Careers, Finance and People Development teams. International Exposure As a European law firm, you'll work with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions and gain experience within a fast-paced, commercially focused professional services environment.

This approach aligns closely with the structure of your existing Belfast graduate programmes. What You'll Do Throughout the programme, you will be based within the Management Accounting team, taking on a varied range of responsibilities and building your knowledge and confidence over time. Your responsibilities may include:
Management Reporting and Month-End Assisting with month-end and year-end management accounting processes Preparing management information reports and supporting financial reconciliations Reviewing data to help ensure financial information is accurate, complete and delivered on time Budgeting and Forecasting Supporting the preparation of budgets and forecasts Gathering, validating and analysing financial information from across the business Helping to explain variances between actual and forecast performance Financial Analysis and Insight Analysing financial performance, trends and key business drivers Producing clear reports and commentary to support commercial decision-making Responding to financial queries and highlighting relevant risks or opportunities Business Partnering Working with colleagues across Finance and the wider business to understand their information needs Supporting meetings and discussions with budget holders and other internal stakeholders Communicating financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance colleagues Systems, Data and Process Improvement Using finance systems, Excel and reporting tools to manage and analyse data Supporting improvements to reporting, controls and ways of working Contributing to finance transformation and technology initiatives relevant to the team Professional Development Taking ownership of tasks as your technical knowledge and confidence develop Building an understanding of the firm's operations, commercial priorities and financial performance Contributing to team projects and continuous improvement activity Training and Development You will follow a tailored development curriculum combining technical finance knowledge with broader business and professional skills.
