Finance Intern

At Cohabs, we don’t just create places to live; we build and operate a growing international business. We are looking for a Finance Intern to support our Finance team in improving financial processes, building reporting tools, and turning data into actionable insights across our markets.

• Finance Operations: Support the Finance team with a variety of tasks aimed at improving, streamlining, and automating our financial processes.
• Rent Collection: Monitor rent collection and reporting across all Cohabs rooms worldwide, and contribute to follow-up tools that improve visibility and help closely track occupancy rates.
• Finance Projects: Independently manage ad hoc finance projects focused on strengthening, optimizing, and automating internal financial processes.
• Business Reporting: Collaborate with other departments to build internal reporting tools tailored to their needs, and help identify, analyze, and interpret key business data.
• Month-End Closing: Participate in the closing process by preparing controlling and accounting files and supporting the Finance team with monthly reporting.

• Relevant Background: You are currently studying in higher education in an economics, finance, or business-related field.
• Excel Pro: You are proficient in Excel and Google Sheets, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and formulas.
• Analytical Mind: You approach problems analytically, understand complex matters quickly, and enjoy developing strong and innovative solutions.
• Independent Thinker: You can assess what you can handle independently and know when a matter needs to be escalated to management.
• Organization Pro: You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong Communicator: You have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: You are a self-starter, eager to take ownership, and committed to delivering high-quality results.
• Continuous Improver: You are curious, proactive, and naturally look for ways to improve processes and bring new ideas to the table.
• Bilingual Superstar: You are fluent in both French and English, spoken and written.
