Role Overview The candidate will be responsible for becoming an efficient team member in delivering Business As Usual (BAU) activities within the Client Onboarding team whilst supporting the Client Lifecycle Team Lead in a fast paced Financial Services environment. The role will include completing Onboarding requests for all business areas at TP ICAP and growing into an SME role within the team.
Role Responsibilities Responsible for the effective delivery of allocated client lifecycle processes, ensuring that activities are executed to defined service levels and on a timely basis, meeting the requirements of the business Complete onboarding cases for low, medium and high risk clients across all businesses at TP ICAP, undertaking and thoroughly completing all necessary KYC/AML and due diligence checks Monitoring of negative media alerts and where appropriate, investigation and escalation to compliance Utilise screening tools to complete efficient client screening related to BAU cases To support the Team Lead and where delegated responsibility, lead the transition of functions and responsibilities into and out of the Client Lifecycle team whilst ensuring strong business risk management Responsible for assisting with group mailbox management, responding to queries and the allocation of e-mails within the team Build key relationships with internal Operations stakeholders as well as Front Office Brokers Liaise with the Anti Financial Crime in London on cases that are escalated on AML/KYC risks People Responsibilities Training junior colleagues on team processes Collaborating with team members to provide an efficient BAU service to clients and driving the reduction of client onboarding times in EMEA Provide feedback on suggestions for process enhancements to senior management Drive a positive culture within the team by supporting all team members in their daily tasks Experience / Competences Essential Demonstrates excellent attention to detail, possesses high organisation skills & a proactive approach Demonstrates strong analytical ability and problem solving skills Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a high pressure environment Highly effective written & oral communication skills;
adapts communication style to suit audience Significant experience of working in fast paced or pressured environments Highly killed in Microsoft applications software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Significant experience of financial markets Significant experience in a similar organisation Demonstrated experience in training / mentoring junior colleagues Demonstrated experience in overseeing colleagues work Strong understanding of risk and controls Desired Knowledge of the TPICAP brand, functions & structure
