Location: Belfast City District
A well-known international organisation is seeking a commercially minded Financial Accountant to join its Belfast finance function on an initial 12-month contract. This position offers the opportunity to work within a large, multi-jurisdictional business while gaining exposure to complex financial reporting, operational finance and stakeholder management activities.
This role would suit a qualified accountant looking to apply their technical expertise in a fast-paced, professional environment with strong flexibility and long-term career prospects.
Package- £50,000 - £60,000 salary dependent on experience

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial controls, reporting requirements and day-to-day finance activities are delivered efficiently and accurately.
Candidate ProfileWe're keen to speak with accountants who can demonstrate:
- An accounting qualification together with 3-5 years' post-qualified experience
- Previous exposure to finance operations within a corporate, shared service or professional environment
- The confidence to engage with senior management and challenge constructively where required
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and an understanding of financial controls
- A track record of identifying and delivering process improvements
Reporting into the finance leadership team, responsibilities will include:
- Delivering monthly financial and management information to support business decision-making
- Assisting with statutory reporting requirements and liaising with external auditors throughout year-end audits
- Maintaining balance sheet integrity through regular reconciliations and financial reviews
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles across the business
- Coordinating supplier payments, intercompany transactions and finance administration activities
- Managing key month-end accounting responsibilities to ensure reporting deadlines are achieved
- Monitoring cash positions and maintaining relationships with banking partners
