Our Pensions Advisory business continues to grow and we are now looking for a number of qualified actuaries to join our GMP Equalisation Team.

This is an exciting senior role and would most likely suit someone who enjoys the technical aspects of actuarial work, with plenty of defined benefit pensions experience. The Role We are looking for several qualified pensions actuaries to join our GMP Equalisation team. We have a unique approach to solving the problems around GMP and are looking for technically minded people to join our friendly and supportive team. Though previous experience in GMP calculations is an advantage, a desire and ability to grasp complex actuarial concepts and find solutions to them is a requirement.

In this role you will be working as part of the GMP team to assist clients in equalising pensions for their scheme members. This includes but is not limited to:
Working with and understanding member data Reviewing and signing off on complex calculations Reviewing and signing off on written advice to clients on this topic Communicating results to client teams and supporting them as you work through the projects together. Can include, if desired, delivering advice to clients in meetings. Regular liaison and communication with the GMP team, client team and other departments in XPS.

Your profile
