- Confident working collaboratively with colleagues and clients
- Provide VAT advice and support to a varied client portfolio
- Deliver indirect tax advisory assignments and support compliance work
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams
- Keep up to date with changes in VAT legislation and guidance
- Ensure advice is technically accurate and aligned with clients' commercial needs
- Work with colleagues across different service lines to deliver client solutions
- Research complex VAT matters and identify practical recommendations
- Manage project deadlines and coordinate work across multiple assignments
- Support business development and the preparation of client proposals
- Identify indirect tax risks and opportunities for clients
- Contribute to wider indirect tax projects involving customs, excise or other indirect taxes
- Support process improvements and technology-led solutions
- Collaborate with colleagues across wider professional networks
- Compromise on technical accuracy or quality of advice
- Rugy tackle the printer to get it to start printing again
