NetSuite System Accountant

We are looking for a Net Suite Systems Accountant to join our finance and systems team, acting as the key link between Finance, IT and the wider business
.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who combines a strong finance/accounting background with practical Net Suite experience
. You will need to understand how finance processes work from both an accounting and systems perspective, while being comfortable getting into Net Suite and making improvements yourself.

The successful candidate will be finance qualified or part-qualified and have a strong understanding of processes such as P2P, O2C, R2R, month‑end, reconciliations, reporting, controls and financial data
, alongside hands‑on experience administering and optimising Net Suite.

• Act as the Finance subject matter expert for Net Suite
  , supporting users across the business.
• Work closely with Finance teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective Net Suite solutions.
• Support and improve core finance processes including P2P, O2C, R2R, month‑end close, reconciliations and financial reporting
  .
• Maintain and enhance Net Suite configurations, workflows, saved searches, dashboards, reports and roles/permissions
  .
• Support system changes, upgrades and new functionality, including testing, UAT and release management
  .
• Investigate system issues and work with Finance and IT teams to identify and implement solutions.
• Support data integrity and financial controls within Net Suite.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end processes
  , ensuring the system supports accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve efficiency across Finance.
• Work with stakeholders to document requirements, map processes and recommend system improvements.
• Support integrations between Net Suite and other business systems.
• Provide training and guidance to Finance users and act as an escalation point for Net Suite-related queries.
• Work with external Net Suite partners and consultants where required.
• Support Net Suite projects, enhancements and wider finance transformation initiatives.

• Finance or accounting qualification is essential – ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of core accounting principles and financial processes.
• Practical experience across areas such as:
• Purchase to Pay (P2P)
• Order to Cash (O2C)
• Record to Report (R2R)
• Month‑end close
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Management reporting
• General ledger
• Comfortable working closely with Finance Directors, Financial Controllers, Management Accountants and wider Finance teams.

• Hands‑on experience working with Oracle Net Suite
  .
• Experience administering and supporting Net Suite within a finance environment.
• Strong knowledge of Saved Searches, Dashboards, Reports and Workflows
  .
• Experience with Net Suite configuration and system optimisation.
• Experience supporting UAT, testing, releases and system changes

• Ability to investigate issues and understand how system configuration impacts finance processes.
• Experience with Net Suite One World would be advantageous.
• Exposure to Suite Analytics, Suite Flow, Suite Script, Suite Talk or integrations would be beneficial.
