Specialist in vivo scientist​/senior scientist

Medi Nect Ophtho is the largest independent provider of ophthalmic drug development and expertise in the UK, based in Belfast. They integrate the experience of leaders in ophthalmology with experienced ophthalmic post-doctoral scientists to deliver premium quality services from study design to data analysis. Their capabilities focus on utilising in vivo retinal disease models for POC, DMPK, and ADME studies.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Specialist In Vivo Scientist/Senior Scientist at Medi Nect Ophtho. The role involves conducting in vivo retinal disease models, contributing to POC, DMPK, and ADME studies, and assisting in study design and data analysis.

Experience in conducting in vivo studies and utilising retinal disease models

Knowledge of POC, DMPK, and ADME studies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to contribute to study design and data analysis

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Strong ability to work and direct work independently

PhD in relevant field (e.g., Pharmacology, Ophthalmology, Biology)

Experience in ophthalmic drug development is a plus
