Your new role

As our new Director of Healthcare (Designate) UK, you will manage and support our UK Healthcare division to develop and drive our services targeted at clients and collaborative partners within the Healthcare sector. You will have the P&L responsibility for the Healthcare Division in UK while raising Ramboll's profile and reputation in the healthcare sector both nationally and internationally. Reporting directly to the Global Spearhead Director of the Healthcare division, you will take ownership and enable our large multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver healthcare projects successfully.

Your

key responsibilities will be:
  • Identifying and tracking opportunities both nationally and internationally within the Healthcare sector
  • Be a division director manager for managers in the Healthcare division. Coach leaders and develop talents
  • Contribute to the Global Healthcare Leadership Team
  • Understanding the Healthcare sector on a national level and have an overview of Ramboll's national portfolio of activity with a general understanding of key clients, projects, and opportunities
  • Lead large tenders and proposals when required
  • Develop the UK healthcare team and support the global healthcare division to create best practices and/or client insights in the bidding, winning and execution of projects
  • Further develop the UK healthcare team development strategy and manage growth of the UK healthcare division
  • Identify competencies and support development of UK Healthcare team colleagues, ensuring that we meet and exceed our client's expectations
  • Manage Strategic recruitments to support the planned growth of the UK healthcare team

In our UK Healthcare division, we are leading large projects for clients within the Buildings Healthcare sector – often in close collaboration with colleagues in other Ramboll markets or teams as well as colleagues in other countries. We are working with key clients and partners within the Healthcare sector that share our vision of creating sustainable healthcare facilities where people and nature can flourish and improve outcomes for those who use them.

Our portfolio includes public sector clients and ranges from Research/University Hospitals through Acute and General Hospitals to neighbourhood, primary care and end-of-life or mental healthcare facilities – all-in-all a range of building typologies where we hold considerable technical and strategic expertise both locally and globally in Ramboll.
