Milesian Manor
, based in Magherafelt, is currently recruiting an Activities / Lifestyle Co‑Ordinator (37.5 hours per week) to join our friendly, caring, and progressive Care Home. This is a vital role within the Home, where the successful candidate will work as a team to create a stimulating and developing activity program to enhance the quality of life for each resident within the nursing home.
Ideal candidate:
- Working as part of a team to deliver excellent quality, person‑centred activities, and social activities for residents.
- Plan special events and group activities, on occasion, and create personalised plans for residents.
- Experience and a passion for Arts and Drama‑related activities.
- Facilitate opportunities for residents to spend time together.
- Ability to work set hours, flexible to meet the needs of the organisation.
- Must have a good command of written and spoken English.
- Relevant vocational qualifications (achieved or working towards).
- Experience working with elderly residents suffering from dementia.
- Knowledge of the care of the elderly patients' Charter of Rights.
