Salary
£43,000 - £46,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)
Role OverviewWe are currently seeking a qualified Obstetrics Sonographer to join a modern and patient-focused healthcare service in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive women's health environment, delivering high-quality obstetric ultrasound examinations while supporting patients throughout their pregnancy journey.
You will be joining a collaborative clinical team equipped with advanced imaging technology, where clinical excellence, accuracy, and compassionate patient care are at the heart of service delivery.
Key Requirements- Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography with a focus on Obstetrics
- HCPC or NMC registration (or eligibility)
- Registration with a recognised sonography professional body (or eligibility)
- Strong understanding of fetal anatomy, obstetric imaging, and pregnancy care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy in reporting and clinical documentation
- Minimum of 3 years' sonography experience
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Liverpool for training, meetings, and business-related activities
- Conduct comprehensive obstetric ultrasound scans
- Assess fetal growth, development, and wellbeing
- Capture clear and accurate diagnostic images for clinical assessment
- Communicate findings appropriately and provide an excellent patient experience
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate patient documentation
- Work collaboratively with consultants, obstetricians, gynaecologists, and healthcare colleagues
- Adhere to professional, clinical, and regulatory standards at all times
- Maintain and develop professional knowledge through continuing professional development activities
- Competitive salary of £43,000 - £46,000 per annum
