Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care and support to elderly and vulnerable clients in their homes or residential care settings.
  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
  • Support with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs.
  • Monitor and record health conditions, and report changes to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and in accordance with training and guidelines.
  • Offer emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to promote client well-being.
  • Adhere to care plans, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with CQC standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A genuine passion for caring and helping others.
  • Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work with empathy, patience, and a high level of integrity.
  • Basic knowledge of health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
  • Willingness to undergo necessary training and development.
Experience
  • No prior experience required; full training will be provided.
  • Previous experience in health or social care is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Ideal for individuals transitioning careers or starting fresh in the UK healthcare industry.
Working Hours
  • Full-time and part-time positions available.
  • Shift patterns may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and night shifts.
