Care Assistant

Care Assistant Night Shifts Belfast (BT12) £13.39 per hour 8:00pm 8:00am 3 night shifts per week Weekend and holiday cover required Job Overview Prime Recruitment Services is currently recruiting caring, reliable and compassionate Care Assistants to support vulnerable adults within residential and supported living settings across Belfast. This is a rewarding night-shift position where you will provide high-quality, person-centred care while helping individuals maintain their dignity, independence, safety and wellbeing.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working overnight shifts and be flexible to provide weekend and holiday cover when required.

Key Responsibilities Provide personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, toileting and personal hygiene. Support individuals with mobility and everyday living activities. Assist with meal preparation, refreshments and maintaining appropriate hydration and nutrition. Provide companionship, reassurance and emotional support throughout the night. Promote independence, choice, dignity and respect at all times. Follow individual care plans, support plans and risk assessments. Complete accurate records and care documentation.

Observe individuals for changes in health, behaviour or wellbeing and report any concerns appropriately. Follow safeguarding, health and safety and infection control procedures. Work closely with colleagues and management to ensure a safe and supportive environment. Respond appropriately to incidents or emergencies during the night shift. Skills and Requirements We are looking for candidates who are:
Caring, patient and compassionate. Reliable and able to work responsibly during night shifts. Able to communicate effectively with service users, colleagues and management. Comfortable supporting vulnerable adults with a range of care and support needs. Able to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries. Flexible to work weekends and holidays when required. Previous experience within care, supported living, residential care or a similar environment would be beneficial, although training can be provided for suitable candidates.

Essential Requirements Right to work in the UK. Willingness to complete an Enhanced AccessNI check where required. Ability to work 8:00pm 8:00am night shifts. Availability for approximately 3 night shifts per week. Flexibility to provide weekend and holiday cover.
