details
personal assistant / support worker required to support a young woman in her own home. The employer lives with ms, diabetes and other health issues. You will be part of a team of personal assistants who support the employer with her personal care on a daily basis monday to friday. Hours are flexible – earliest start 8.00am / latest 12.00pm – to be discussed at interview.

duties

you will provide support in the mornings with personal care including assistance with showering / hair washing / assistance with footwear.
assistance with making up bed and meal prep and fluids. Opening tins, jars, bottles etc.

experience / qualifications required
experience of support work preferred as well as knowledge of ms & diabetes. Moving & assisting training required – this can be arranged by the employer if not already in place.

*** this position is subject to a 6 month probationary period.
successful applicants will have to provide 2 references (one of which must be your current or most recent employer) and undergo a new pvg disclosure at the employers cost.
