R&D Partners is seeking a Training Specialist to join a leading pharmaceutical company's Technical UK Applications team within the Technical Services department. This field-based role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality training support for near-patient care products while contributing to an exceptional customer experience.

This position involves training across multiple Trusts for the implementation of blood glucose and ketone solutions. Regular travel, including overnight stays and occasional unsocial hours, is required to meet business needs. Candidates must own or have access to a car and be available immediately.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Expert Training: Provide and record product training for customers, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Customer Support: Address training-related inquiries, from product installation to occasional troubleshooting and technical assistance.
  • On-Site

    Activities:

    Support hardware-software implementations during product launches.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Depth of scientific knowledge (theoretical and practical) in a medical setting.
  • Strong communication, time management, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage responsibilities.
  • Full UK-EU or equivalent driving license.
  • Passport for potential overseas training.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English.
Desirable

Skills and Experience:
  • Degree-level education or equivalent.
  • Background in Nursing (Registered Nurse preferred) or Training.
  • Knowledge of Primary-Secondary Care organisations within the NHS, ideally in a hospital environment.
  • Experience designing and delivering high-quality, customised training programmes aligned with patient pathway strategies.
  • Familiarity with medical analytical systems, quality assurance, and customer relationship management tools.
  • Proven troubleshooting experience and a track record of providing on-site customer support. Awareness of the diagnostics industry and experience working in a multicultural environment.
