Job Title: Waking Night Support Worker (Residential)
Location: Near Launceston, Cornwall
Salary: £13.50 per hour (weekdays) / £14.75 per hour (weekends)
Hours: 19:15–07:15
Shift Pattern: 2-week rolling rota (up to 4 shifts per week)
We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Waking Night Support Worker to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting others and making a positive difference in people’s lives.
Working night shifts in a residential setting, you will support and empower service users to live as independently as possible while ensuring their safety and wellbeing throughout the night.
Shift PatternYou will work on a 2-week rolling rota, with up to 4 night shifts per week.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medication in line with care plans and policies
- Support and empower service users to maintain independence
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- Ensure a clean, safe, and well‑organised environment
- Provide a calm, reassuring presence throughout the night
- A friendly, calm, and caring nature
- A genuine passion for supporting others
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience is beneficial but not essential as full training is provided
- Relaxed working atmosphere
- Full shadowing and comprehensive training
