We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Histology to join our client’s team in the Isle of Man. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will process and embed tissue samples, perform microtomy, and stain slides for microscopic examination. You will support pathologists in diagnostic reporting.
Qualifications and Experience- - HCPC registration
- - Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- - Experience in Histology within a clinical laboratory
- - Experience with microtomy and staining techniques
- - Strong attention to detail
- - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- - NHS experience (required)
