HR Project Manager - Belfast - Part-time

MCS Group is delighted to partner with an award-winning organisation as they look to add an experienced HR Project Manager to their forward-thinking Human Resources team. This is a strategic HR role, focused on the design and delivery of a range of reward-related projects that will support the organisation's ambition to be a great place to work.

The role:

You will be responsible for implementing projects that bring efficiency, compliance, and innovation to reward practices.

This role requires a strong blend of project management, reward expertise, and stakeholder engagement. You'll work collaboratively across HR, with senior leaders, external advisors, and trade union representatives to deliver projects that align with business objectives and values.

The main responsibilities:
  • Lead, design, and implement complex reward projects, including data analysis, scenario modelling, and compliance reviews.
  • Provide expert guidance and advice on reward strategies and their impact across the business.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, trade unions, and employees to ensure alignment and clear communication.
  • Oversee risk management, project reporting, and transition to business-as-usual operations.
  • Mentor and support HR colleagues to embed knowledge and sustain project outcomes.
  • Support the review and development of HR policies, ensuring best practice and compliance.
The ideal candidate:
  • Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • Similar experience leading people strategies in a large, complex organisation.
  • Proven track record in leading the successful development and implementation of HR or reward strategies.
  • Chartered Membership of the CIPD (or equivalent) - Desirable.
