Job Overview

VANRATH are pleased to be supporting a well-established organisation in the recruitment of an experienced People and Culture Advisor. Based in Belfast, this role will provide HR and People support across multiple business units, including employee lifecycle management, payroll and reporting, learning and development coordination, and HR process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR advice and support to managers and employees on policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, and exit processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR data, ensuring compliance with data protection requirements.
  • Assist with payroll administration, reporting, and preparation of management information.
  • Coordinate learning and development activities and support employee engagement initiatives.
  • Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, and the implementation of People and Culture initiatives.
Essential
  • Proven experience in providing administrative support within a People, HR, or related business function.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail when maintaining records and processing data.
  • Experience supporting payroll processes, including data collection and validation.
  • Proficient in the use of HR systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prepare and interpret reports.
