The People, Development and Culture Manager will provide operational coordination and support across the full workforce lifecycle, helping ensure recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, workforce support and people processes are delivered consistently and effectively.
The role will support the day-to-day running of the People, Development and Culture function, working closely with the Director of People, Development and Culture and the Senior People, Development and Culture Lead to help maintain strong workforce capability, consistent people practices and high-quality services across the organisation.

- Experience in learning and development, workforce development or people-focused roles
- Experience supporting training delivery and development
- Experience working with or supporting volunteers or volunteer programmes
- Ability to coach and support managers or colleagues in day-to-day people matters
- Good understanding of people practices across the employee lifecycle (including recruitment, development and HR processes)
- Experience coordinating activity across teams and keeping delivery on track
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- CIPD Level 5 (or willingness to work towards)
- Willingness and ability to travel across SORT locations in the North West, with occasional wider travel across the UK if required
