Recruitment Consultant Engineering

Recruitment Consultant Mydas Recruitment are a specialist multi disciplinary and multi sector recruitment consultancy, we are preferred suppliers to some of the largest manufacturing organisations in the world! We have been operating since 1993 in the Aerospace, Defence, Manufacturing & Engineering sectors, we have developed an unrivaled knowledge and client base within these sectors. We work with a host of clients in Northern Ireland, UK, Europe, North America and the Middle East.

Due to ongoing growth & demand we have a requirement for a recruitment consultant to join our team.

The Role:

Joining a small but growing team with an excellent reputation within our sectors, you will take up a role with a focus on client retention, client management, research, business development and ultimately sales. We need intelligent, determined, focused individuals with a recruitment background (5 years) in Aerospace, Manufacturing, technology, engineering or science. Day to day:
Build & Manage your own recruitment desk developing a network of client companies, arranging interviews, prepping candidates, salary negotiations and providing feedback. Research formulate a strategy around identifying clients you want to work with & how. Provide a focused, research led search across multiple channels including, social media, cv databases, referrals etc. Headhunt suitable talent and build a pipeline of candidates.

Attend relevant sector specific networking events Your experience: 5 years previous recruitment experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, technology, engineering or science;
Excellent sector knowledge & contacts

Experience of sourcing & headhunting temp and perm candidates Strong work ethic;
Drive, ambition, resilience;

Experience of using various social media channels;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Work to achievable targets Appropriate training will be provided and any relevant L&D. Rewards:
