This role combines operational recruitment delivery with strategic recruitment support, ensuring an exceptional candidate journey and efficient hiring processes. You will also provide guidance to junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment practices. Duties will include:
Managing the full recruitment lifecycle across a broad range of vacancies. Acting as a trusted recruitment partner to managers, providing expert advice and guidance. Supporting and supervising Recruitment Administrators in their day-to-day responsibilities. Reviewing and updating job descriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance. Producing engaging job adverts and recruitment materials. Selecting the most effective advertising channels to attract high-quality candidates.
Proactively sourcing talent through job boards, Linked In and professional networks. Supporting hiring managers with application screening, shortlisting and interview planning. Coordinating interviews and participating in selection activities where required. Delivering an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, including making offers and providing constructive feedback. Maintaining and optimising the applicant tracking system to ensure accurate recruitment data. Monitoring recruitment performance and identifying opportunities to improve processes and candidate experience.
Managing relationships with recruitment agencies, including negotiating terms and overseeing supplier compliance. Working closely with the wider HR team to support onboarding, pre-employment checks and induction planning. Ensuring recruitment activities comply with employment legislation and safeguarding requirements. Contributing to recruitment projects and wider HR initiatives as required. About the Successful Applicant You will have previous experience in an in-house Recruitment Advisor or Recruitment Officer role, alongside strong stakeholder management skills and a sound understanding of UK recruitment legislation.
Experience with applicant tracking systems and Linked In sourcing is desirable, while exposure to a broader HR environment would be advantageous. You will be highly organised, proactive, an excellent communicator and confident managing multiple priorities.
