HR Officer

We're supporting a growing organisation in a fast-paced industry seeking an HR Officer to join their team. This is a broad, hands-on generalist role with exposure to the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, performance, development and HR administration.

You'll provide day-to-day HR support across the business, working closely with the wider HR team, managers and employees, while taking responsibiltiy for key HR and payroll processes.

• Manage recruitment, selection and onboarding.
• Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees.
• Manage employee relations, absence, performance and HR casework.
• Take responsibility for the monthly payroll process and related queries.
• Process starters, leavers, salary changes, overtime, holidays and other payroll adjustments.
• Maintain accurate and confidential HR and payroll records.
• Coordinate training, development and performance reviews.
• Support benefits, pensions and other employee administration.
• Ensure HR policies and processes remain compliant and up to date.
• Produce HR reports and contribute to process improvements and employee engagement initiatives.

• Previous experience in an HR role, ideally within a fast-paced environment
• Good knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Knowledge of NI payroll processes
• Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
• Confident using HR and related systems.
• Proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent would be advantageous.
