About you
- Hold BCC A Levels or equivalent, along with GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above
- Genuine interest in people, organisations, and employee experience
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or willing to develop IT skills
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn and develop
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude
What you'll do
- Assist with recruitment processes, such as preparing role information, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
- Support onboarding activities to ensure a smooth experience for new starters
- Help coordinate learning and development activities, including maintaining training records and preparing materials
- Contribute to employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives, including surveys and internal communications
- Maintain accurate HR and recruitment records, supporting HR systems and reporting
- Provide administrative support across various HR activities, including document preparation and meeting organisation
- Participate in team meetings, offer ideas, and support ongoing projects and campaigns
