HR Officer

HR Officer We're supporting a growing organisation in a fast-paced industry seeking an HR Officer to join their team. This is a broad, hands-on generalist role with exposure to the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, performance, development and HR administration. The role You'll provide day-to-day HR support across the business, working closely with the wider HR team, managers and employees, while taking responsibiltiy for key HR and payroll processes.

The main responsibilities Manage recruitment, selection and onboarding. Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees. Manage employee relations, absence, performance and HR casework. Take responsibility for the monthly payroll process and related queries. Process starters, leavers, salary changes, overtime, holidays and other payroll adjustments. Maintain accurate and confidential HR and payroll records. Coordinate training, development and performance reviews.

Support benefits, pensions and other employee administration. Ensure HR policies and processes remain compliant and up to date. Produce HR reports and contribute to process improvements and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate Previous experience in an HR role, ideally within a fast-paced environment Good knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice. Knowledge of NI payroll processes Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.

Confident using HR and related systems. Proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. CIPD qualification or equivalent would be advantageous. What's on offer?
