- Open to part-time MCS Group is be partnering with a growing organisation as they recruit a Senior HR Generalist to join their team. This role can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis.

The role:

This is a brilliant opportunity to take on a varied role, supporting a diverse range of people issues with practical HR advice, complex employee relations matters and wider people projects. The main responsibilities:
Provide practical, commercially focused advice across employee relations, employment legislation and general HR matters. Support the team with disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance and other complex employee relations cases. Review current HR processes and implement practical improvements. Develop policies, contracts, HR toolkits and supporting documentation. Advise managers on recruitment, onboarding, probation, performance management and offboarding. Support wider projects across culture, engagement and HR systems.

Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on more complex HR queries. The successful candidate:
Similar experience across HR and employee relations. Strong working knowledge of NI employment legislation and HR best practice. Confident advising managers and senior stakeholders on complex people matters in an NI organisation. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex matters clearly. CIPD qualified, ideally at Level 7, or willing to work towards this. A full driving licence and access to a car are essential.
