Available immediately and looking for your next interim HR opportunity? MCS Group are proud to be partnering with a healthcare organisation in their search for an HR Assistant to provide interim cover. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR administrator to join a busy HR team supporting a diverse workforce across a range of professional and support functions.
The Role- Monitor HR inboxes, responding to queries where appropriate and escalating matters when required.
- Assemble and prepare monthly payroll information for submission, ensuring information is accurate and complete.
- Update and maintain employee records on internal HR systems, including data inputting and auditing.
- Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including uploading job adverts, preparing recruitment packs, communicating with candidates, drafting offer letters and contracts, requesting references and maintaining recruitment trackers.
- Support the onboarding of new starters and maintain accurate employee records across relevant systems.
- Support with HR policy rollouts, training coordination and other HR projects as required.
- Work closely with the HR Manager to ensure an efficient and responsive HR service is delivered to managers and employees.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Essential- Previous experience in HR administration, with a working knowledge of UK employment law.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload independently.
- IT literate and confident learning new systems, with sound judgement and a professional, discreet approach to confidential information.
- Experience using an HRIS or similar HR systems.
- CIPD Level 3 or above, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Duration: Initially 6-8 weeks, with the possibility of extension.
- Hours: Minimum 3 days / 22.5 hours per week, up to full-time 37.5 hours.
- Working hours: 9am-5pm, with flexibility around start and finish times.
- Location: Belfast.
- Working arrangement: Hybric working arrangement, onsite parking.
- Start: Immediate / as soon as possible.
