Role Overview

Nomadic Watches is seeking a results-driven, strategic, and highly organized
eCommerce Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on driving online sales through the effective management of our Shopify website, performance marketing channels, and digital marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of eCommerce strategies, a data-centric approach, and the ability to deliver consistent growth in online sales while improving customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Shopify Store Management:

  • Manage and optimize the performance, functionality, and conversion rate of the Nomadic Watches Shopify website.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to improve the website's aesthetics, usability, and technical performance.
  • Monitor and update product listings, descriptions, and visual content to maintain accuracy and alignment with the brand.
  • Develop and optimize landing pages using tools like Replo to enhance website functionality, drive engagement, and support new product launches.

Performance Marketing

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads and Meta platforms (Facebook & Instagram).
  • Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, targeting, and messaging to maximize ROI and ROAS.
  • Track and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights and identifying growth opportunities.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Leverage tools like Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and Meta Business Suite to monitor traffic, sales, and conversion metrics.
  • Analyse customer behaviour to identify bottlenecks in the sales funnel and recommend solutions to improve performance.

Email Marketing & Retargeting:

  • Collaborate on email marketing campaigns, including automated workflows for retargeting, abandoned carts, and post-purchase communication.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve customer retention and lifetime value.

Digital Content Creation:

  • Assist in the creation of engaging ad assets and digital marketing materials using tools like Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Canva, or coordinate with external creative partners.
  • Support social media strategies by identifying opportunities for organic and paid growth on emerging platforms.

Trend Monitoring & Innovation:

  • Stay updated on eCommerce and industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure Nomadic Watches remains competitive in the digital space.
  • Identify and test new growth channels, such as marketplaces or partnerships, to expand reach.
  • Integrate and leverage new technologies to optimize conversions on owned channels, utilising AI platforms like Many Chat. Prior experience with these tools is highly advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience managing eCommerce platforms (preferably Shopify) and performance marketing campaigns for online retailers.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable eCommerce growth through data-driven strategies.
  • Expertise in tools such as Google Ads Manager, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and Shopify Analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
  • Excellent time management, organisational, and communication skills.
  • A creative problem solver with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • A degree in Marketing or a related discipline.
  • Experience with luxury goods, lifestyle brands, or high-ticket consumer products.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo) and SEO optimisation.
  • Knowledge of the luxury watch industry or a passion for timepieces.
  • Basic knowledge of coding languages like HTML or CSS for website customisation.
