Following recent significant investment
, the business has made a brand-new foreign direct investment (FDI) into Belfast
, establishing a growing product and engineering presence in the city. Alongside this expansion, they are investing heavily in AI and GenAI initiatives
, with design playing a central role in shaping both the product roadmap and long-term platform strategy.

This is a Lead / Staff-level Product Designer role, positioned as a senior individual contributor with strong leadership influence
.

You’ll own the end-to-end design process for key initiatives, acting as the sole designer on those streams
, while bringing cross-functional teams together to deliver high-quality, scalable product design with real strategic impact.

• Own the full product design lifecycle
  , from discovery through delivery
• Conduct user research
  , including interviews and usability testing
• Partner closely with Product Owners and Engineers on defined initiatives
• Lead design reviews and facilitate stakeholder feedback
• Showcase work and influence design direction across teams
• Act as a Staff Designer
  , providing mentorship and design leadership

• Work across multiple product initiatives
• Strong focus on design systems and scalable foundations
• Significant opportunity to work on AI-driven initiatives
• Potential partner-facing design work
• Design plays a strategic role in shaping the product roadmap

• Belfast-based product team with organic growth plans
• Design team currently includes a Lead Designer and Senior Designer

• No formal people management initially, but strong mentorship responsibilities

Must-have:

• Strong experience with Figma
• Proven user research experience (interviews, usability testing)

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with AI-assisted design tools
• Strong interest in AI-driven product design (
