Public Cloud - Senior Platform Engineer - SVP

Responsibilities

• Implement cloud architecture on AWS, GCP and Azure for compute, database, network, storage and observability to enable application hosting in public cloud using Citi’s engineering processes and best practices, with emphasis on automation and security by design.
• Provide developer experience across multiple languages – Java, Python, etc.
• Build and maintain CI/CD / SDLC pipelines (e.g., Terraform and Harness).
• Lead technology decisions within a specialist domain (e.g., container or data platforms) as a tech lead and collaborate with remote teams.
• Work in an agile, outcomes-oriented environment; self-organize and help team members break down work.
• Engage in networking, security, observability, and related cloud infrastructure topics (e.g., VPCs, load balancers, IAM, monitoring).

• Developer experience across multiple languages – Java, Python, etc.
• Cloud platforms with hands-on experience across AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Has built CI/CD / SDLC pipelines (e.g., Terraform and Harness).
• Experience as a tech lead within a specialist domain (e.g., container or data platforms).
• Networking, security, observability and related cloud infrastructure knowledge.
• Data services: cloud databases, machine learning, analytics.
• API services such as Apigee / Kong.
• Test-driven development.
• Cloud real-world experience at expert level, anywhere (not limited to banking).
