Position: Java Full Stack Managing Engineer (Hybrid)

Your role in the team

We are seeking a Java Full Stack Managing Engineer to lead and drive the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure and scalable infrastructure automation solutions. You will be responsible for integrating security best practices of Dev Ops workflows, managing automation pipelines, and leading a team of engineers focused on access control, firewalls ,user entitlements and cloud‑native security tooling.

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on technical leader with a deep understanding of Full Stack Development principles, infrastructure automation, and cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Security and Automation Engineers, providing coaching, mentorship, performance feedback, and career development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Dev Ops, Security, Development, and IT to align automation efforts with security and business goals.
  • Influence design and architecture conversations
  • Senior developer on the team coding new capabilities and enhancements.
  • Automate deployment using CI/CD pipelines with security built in from the start
  • Integrate monitoring, logging, and alerting with established frameworks with a security‑first approach (e.g., Cloud Trail, SIEM, Prometheus/Grafana).
  • Support incident response efforts and ensure audit-readiness across environments.
  • Contribute to security policies, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
  • Ensure automation solutions align with regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
Essential Skills
  • All applicants must demonstrate they have a legal right to work in the UK for employment state is not providing sponsorship for this vacancy.
  • At least 5 years’ experience as a Java Full Stack engineer (Spring boot)
  • At least 2 years’ in a leadership or team management position
  • Experience with in a CI/CD platforms (e.g., Git Lab CI, Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, Circle

    CI).
  • High level understanding of user authentication (MFA, SSO).
Desirable Skills
  • Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), Kubernetes, and containerization and container orchestration.
  • Prior understanding of security infrastructure (firewalls, access control or user entitlements)
  • Experience with application health and reliability concepts aligned to SRE principles
