Senior Business Central Consultant

Enso Recruitment is proud to be working with a highly respected Microsoft Solutions Partner with an established footprint across Ireland and the UK
. With a strong focus on Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and cloud-based transformation, they are continuing to grow their consulting practice in response to increasing client demand.

They are now seeking a Senior Business Central Consultant to lead full lifecycle Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations, acting as the primary functional expert and trusted advisor to clients from requirements and solution design through to go‑live, training, and continuous improvement.

• Lead full lifecycle Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations
• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements across finance, supply chain, warehousing, manufacturing, and service management
• Configure core Business Central modules in line with client needs
• Develop functional specifications for integrations and customisations
• Collaborate with technical consultants to ensure scalable, best‑practice solutions
• Support UAT, testing cycles, and go‑live activities
• Provide post‑implementation support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Lead enhancement projects and continuous improvement initiatives

• Facilitate client workshops and training sessions
• Act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide guidance on digital transformation and process optimisation
• Build and maintain strong long‑term client relationships

• Support Project Managers with scoping, estimation, planning, and risk management
• Participate in solution reviews and design approvals
• Mentor junior consultants and promote best practices
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

• 5+ years’ experience as a Functional Consultant within MS Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV)
• Strong functional expertise across Finance (AP/AR/GL, cash management), Supply Chain, Warehousing, and Manufacturing
• Experience writing clear functional specifications and test scripts
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and emerging Copilot / AI capabilities
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into system configuration
• Excellent client‑facing communication and presentation skills
• Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects in fast‑paced environments
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating across technical and delivery teams
