Delivery Lead

Overview

Enso Recruitment is delighted to be working with a brand new FDI organisation who are setting up a team in Belfast. As part of their initial growth plans, they are seeking a Delivery Lead to play a key role in shaping and scaling their local delivery capability.

This is a hands-on, leadership-focused role suited to someone who thrives in client-facing environments and enjoys owning complex technology projects end-to-end. You’ll work closely with engineering teams and global stakeholders to deliver high-impact cloud, data, and API-driven solutions for enterprise and high-growth clients.

You will serve as the primary point of accountability for client delivery across multiple projects, ensuring work is executed efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards.

This organisation partners deeply with clients, embedding into projects and delivering full lifecycle technology solutions. As Delivery Lead
, you’ll balance strategic oversight with practical coordination, helping teams navigate ambiguity while maintaining strong governance and delivery discipline.

You’ll have genuine influence across:

• Delivery standards and governance frameworks
• Client engagement and stakeholder management
• Agile execution and resource coordination

Leadership & Delivery

• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, data, and design disciplines
• Own full project lifecycle delivery from discovery through implementation
• Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, workshops, and milestone reviews
• Identify risks early and proactively mitigate delivery challenges
• Ensure projects meet agreed quality, compliance, and governance standards

Client Engagement

• Act as the primary day-to-day client contact
• Translate between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Manage expectations across innovation, timelines, and delivery trade-offs
• Build long-term, trusted client relationships

Operational & Strategic Contribution

• Shape and refine delivery frameworks as the Belfast site grows
• Collaborate with other Delivery Leads and Site Leadership to ensure alignment
• Contribute to organisational best practices and knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Support scaling of delivery capability as the NI team expands

• 5+ years’ experience in project management or delivery leadership
• Proven track record delivering complex
  , multi-stakeholder technology projects
• Experience operating in consulting
  , financial
  services
  , or high-growth tech environments
• Strong understanding of modern application ecosystems (
  cloud, APIs, system integrations
  )
• Confident leading cross-functional technical teams
• Strong risk
  management and planning capability
• Comfortable adapting between Agile
  , hybrid
  , or structured delivery models
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at senior levels
