Job Description

In this position, you will join the UK Social Security team and will be responsible for a portfolio of accounts where you will manage the global social security compliance and be the client’s go‑to contacts on any queries. You will be supported by our offshore (VVN) team that you will work closely with and manage. You will be involved in a range of consulting projects and provide technical, global advice to clients and tax colleagues.

You will have a strong relationship with your social security colleagues across the global network to enable you to provide a global service.

Managing Social Security Compliance on Client Accounts
  • Lead the delivery of social security services across your client portfolio.
  • Provide support to the offshore team on technical queries related to application preparation.
  • Review applications where required (e.g., complex cases, VIP clients).
  • Collaborate with clients and tax/mobility colleagues to onboard new clients, guiding them through social security requirements (data requirements, static information, assumptions, and set approaches).
  • Work closely with the offshore team (VVN) and junior team members on your accounts to ensure KPIs are met.
  • Discuss useful trends and identify opportunities arising from compliance processes with clients.
Managing Social Security Coordination on Client Accounts
  • Ensure all locations prepare applications within agreed time frames, intervening when necessary.
  • Prepare dashboards and reports for clients and tax colleagues.
  • Identify global opportunities for process and policy improvements, leading discussions with teams and clients internationally.
Global Consulting
  • Support the preparation of presentations and RFPs, including drafting slides and creating content.
  • Prepare and share marketing insights for clients.
  • Respond to queries from clients and the tax practice on social security matters (e.g., application feasibility, assignment extension impacts, non‑agreement country advice and complex advisory matters with subject matter experts).
  • Train junior team members on technical social security knowledge and soft skills.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and training to tax and mobility colleagues on technical and commercial developments.
  • Identify optimization opportunities across the client portfolio.
Qualifications
  • Strong client service skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle competing priorities, people, and requirements confidentially.
  • Experience in a client‑facing role within Global Social Security or Expatriate Tax is beneficial.
  • Proven organizational skills, with the ability to manage your own caseload, meet KPIs, and work effectively.
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on improving team services.
  • Clear and articulate written and verbal communication that requires minimal review.
  • A team player who can also work independently and lead junior team members in a supportive learning environment.
