Modern Workplace Engineer | Hybrid (Belfast) | Competitive Salary + Benefits

We're working with a leading organisation seeking a Modern Workplace Engineer to help drive their digital transformation journey. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong experience across Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid infrastructure.

You'll play a key part in delivering Microsoft 365 migrations, implementing robust security and compliance solutions, and supporting a mix of cloud and on-premise technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Microsoft 365 migrations (Exchange, SharePoint, One Drive, Teams Phone)

• Support hybrid environments including Windows Server, VMWare, AVD, and Windows 10/11

• Implement and manage tools such as Entra , Intune, MFA, Microsoft Defender, and Conditional Access

• Maintain backup and disaster recovery platforms (Azure Site Recovery, VEEAM, Acronis, Datto)

• Manage firewalls and networks (Fortinet, Watchguard, Cisco, Aruba)

• Automate processes using Power Shell

• Deliver 3rd-line support and collaborate across teams to enhance digital workplace experiences

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years' experience in M365 migrations and infrastructure support

• Solid understanding of Microsoft security and compliance tools

• Experience with Power Shell, Entra , and Microsoft Defender

• Strong communication skills and a user-focused approach

Desirable:

• Microsoft certifications (MS-500, AZ-104, etc.)

• Experience in MSP or customer-facing environments

Location: Belfast (Hybrid)
