Our continuing growth has created a new opportunity for a Cryptographer
, who will work closely with engineering, product and commercial teams, as well as interacting with customers, and talking s role is ideal for someone who is eager to use both their technical expertise and their interpersonal skills. You will work with colleagues to provide technical guidance, demonstrate cryptographic solutions, and help prospective clients understand how our offerings meet their security needs.

Working on a hybrid basis, you will based from our friendly and modern offices in Belfast city centre.

• Collaborating with sales teams during pre-sales engagements to explain cryptographic concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Assisting in preparing technical presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept activities.
• Translating customer requirements into secure solution designs aligned with industry standards.
• Supporting responses to RFPs and technical questionnaires related to encryption and security.
• Contribute to risk assessment documents, providing advice on risk mitigation and compliance based on customer encryption inventory reports.
• Liaising with the academic cryptography/cyber security community.
• Maintaining leading-edge knowledge of cryptographic protocols, algorithms, and compliance frameworks.

• Bachelors degree, MSc or PhD in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Foundational understanding of cryptographic principles including symmetric/asymmetric encryption, hashing, and key management.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales and technical teams.
• Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST)
• Curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
