AI Delivery Consultant

MCS Group is looking for an experienced AI Delivery Consultant to support the delivery of advanced AI solutions within a complex enterprise environment. This contract would suit someone who combines deep technical expertise with the ability to guide organisations through the practical adoption of AI technologies. You will work across strategy, architecture and delivery, helping to transform AI concepts into production-ready solutions.

You will play a key role in the design and implementation of AI and machine learning solutions, working with stakeholders to identify opportunities, define approaches and deliver measurable outcomes.

The successful candidate will have experience delivering enterprise-grade LLM, Generative AI and Machine Learning solutions, with a strong understanding of the technical, operational and governance considerations required for successful deployment.

• Design and deliver enterprise AI, Generative AI and Machine Learning solutions
• Lead the implementation of LLM-powered applications from concept through to production
• Architect and develop solutions involving RAG, agentic workflows, prompt engineering and model evaluation
• Advise stakeholders on AI strategy, adoption and deployment approaches
• Define best practices for AI governance, safety, evaluation and operational oversight
• Develop and optimise AI systems using modern ML and data science frameworks
• Work closely with engineering and business teams to integrate AI capabilities into wider products and platforms
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to enhance AI capability across the organisation

• SC Clearance is required.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise AI, ML or GenAI solutions
• Strong commercial experience with Python
• Hands‑on experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensor Flow, Scikit‑Learn, Lang Chain and related tooling
• Experience designing and deploying LLM-based applications
• Knowledge of agentic systems, model evaluation and prompt engineering
• Strong understanding of AI deployment across cloud, on‑premise and hybrid environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Experience leading AI transformation or capability‑building initiatives
• Exposure to AI governance, trust, safety and alignment frameworks
• Experience developing AI products or user‑facing AI capabilities
• Familiarity with modern MLOps and AI delivery practices

Northern Ireland is preferred, some remote GB opportunities may be possible.
