IT Graduate Service Desk Analyst / IT Support (Temp to Perm) Belfast | Initial Contract with Permanent Opportunity

Are you an IT Graduate or junior IT Support professional ready to kickstart your career in a fast-paced, hands‑on environment? This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy IT Service Desk / IT Helpdesk team in Belfast, where you'll gain real‑world experience delivering technical support, troubleshooting IT issues, and building a long‑term career in IT. The Role - IT Support / IT Helpdesk

As an IT Service Desk Analyst, you'll be the first line of support for users, helping to resolve everyday IT issues and building your technical skills along the way.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Provide 1st line IT support via phone, email, and ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot issues including:
    • Password resets, account access
    • Hardware and laptop issues
    • Microsoft 365 / Office 365 queries
  • Log and manage IT helpdesk tickets
  • Support users across a range of IT systems and technologies
  • Escalate more complex issues to senior IT support teams
  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times
What We're Looking For:
  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, Cyber Security or similar
  • Some experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, or Service Desk (placement, internship, or part‑time work counts!)
  • Basic knowledge of:
    • Windows OS
    • Microsoft 365 / Office 365
    • Active Directory (desirable)
  • Strong interest in building a career in IT Support / Infrastructure / Cloud
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
  • Understanding of networks or troubleshooting basics
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems or ITIL principles
  • Any certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.)
