The Role This is a senior Data Architecture position for a technical leader who can operate with confidence at both project and enterprise level. You will serve as a subject matter expert across core data architecture disciplines, working directly with clients to understand complex data requirements and shape solutions that are fit for purpose. Alongside delivery, you will manage, coach and develop a small team of data professionals, taking genuine ownership of their performance and career growth.

Key Responsibilities Provide SME-level guidance across data modelling, data flows, data sourcing, transformation, migration and governance Work closely with clients to understand data requirements and ensure solutions are designed to meet them Deliver technical leadership and assurance across data project work streams, setting standards and best practice Operate at enterprise or solution level to resolve data definition and master data challenges across complex stakeholder environments Lead product and technology selection decisions at project or enterprise scale Engage with both technical and non-technical client stakeholders, providing thought leadership and inspiration Manage, coach and develop a small team of Data professionals, supporting performance and career development Contribute to the growth of the wider Data and AI capability and community What You'll Need Essential:
Commercial experience working across the UK Healthcare or Public Sector Strong technical design expertise across data modelling, metadata management, data transformation, data migration and master data Proven track record of providing technical leadership on data projects, including assurance, mentoring and standards definition

Experience of product or technology selection at project or enterprise level Excellent client engagement skills across technical and non-technical audiences Proficiency in at least three mainstream data technologies, with awareness of broader data technology trends Demonstrated ability to manage, coach and develop junior team members Desirable:
Experience defining information handling models and capacity planning across heterogeneous data store technologies Experience establishing data governance processes and frameworks Experience architecting data lake solutions and wider data lake ecosystems Enterprise Data Architecture experience Why Apply?
