Integration Solution Architect Permanent (Full Time) Birmingham, UK (Remote with occasional on-site collaboration) Infinite Talent have partnered with a growing technology consultancy that specialises in helping organisations modernise and automate their technology landscape. Their expertise spans the full spectrum of business challenges from tactical technology replacements to strategic AI initiatives. Whether replacing legacy point-to-point integrations, enabling self-service automation capabilities across business units, or building a strategy, their delivery methods are specifically designed to meet unique client pace, scale requirements, and governance needs.

They are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Integration Solution Architect to join their growing integration practice. This position is perfectly suited to someone who has begun their career in solution architecture and is looking to deepen their expertise in enterprise integration. You will work alongside senior architects and delivery teams to design and shape integration solutions for clients, with a focus on quality, scalability, and best practice.

Responsibilities:
Support the design and documentation of end-to-end integration solutions, translating business and technical requirements into clear architecture. Contribute to discovery and requirements-gathering workshops, working with clients and stakeholders to understand their integration needs. Produce solution design documentation including architecture diagrams, data flow maps, and integration specifications. Work closely with development teams to ensure solutions are built in line with the agreed design.

Assist in evaluating integration platforms and tooling, with a focus on Workato and iPaaS solutions. Identify risks, assumptions, and dependencies within proposed solutions and escalate where appropriate. Support pre-sales activities including scoping, effort estimation, and proposal writing. Continuously develop your knowledge of integration patterns, API design, and enterprise architecture principles. What you will bring: 1 years of experience in a Solution Architect role or similar, within an integration or technology consultancy environment.

A background in either Business Analysis or Integration Development, welcoming candidates from either discipline who are moving into architecture. Solid understanding of integration concepts including APIs (REST/SOAP), messaging patterns, event-driven architecture, and data transformation. Experience working with at least one iPaaS or integration platform (e.g. Workato, Mule Soft, Boomi, Azure Integration Services). Workato experience or certification is highly desirable and will strengthen your application.

Ability to produce clear, structured technical documentation and diagrams (e.g. using Lucidchart, Visio, or similar). Strong communication skills, with the comfort to engage with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies. Workato Automation Pro or equivalent certification. Experience in a client-facing or consultancy setting. Familiarity with common enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Service Now, or similar.
