What you’ll be doing- Own and manage the Information Assurance Governance, Risk and Compliance position for assigned customer contracts, ensuring effective security oversight throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security governance, risk, and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to contractual, regulatory, industry, and BT security requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders, providing expert security guidance and driving informed decision-making.
- Identify, assess, and manage security risks, monitor compliance obligations, and drive continuous security improvements to protect people, information, assets, and reputation.
- Lead security governance activities, including audits, accreditations, supplier compliance, and assurance reviews, ensuring contractual security controls remain effective and compliant.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and customer engagement skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build effective relationships across internal and external teams.
- Experience in security governance, risk, and compliance, including risk assessments, audits, security improvement plans, and maintaining contractual and regulatory compliance.
- Relevant security accreditations such as CISM, M.Inst.
ISP, or equivalent, with the ability to apply industry best practice to support customer and business security outcomes. - Good understanding of security architecture, security operations, incident response, and the evolving cyber threat landscape, with the ability to translate complex security concepts into business-focused recommendations.
- Commercially aware and highly organised, with strong decision-making, contract management, reporting, and prioritisation skills to deliver outcomes within agreed timescales.
- Excellent stakeholder management at C-level and above.
- Excellent knowledge of how security requirements are applied in operational or delivery contexts.
- Artificial Intelligence Compliance.
- Advanced Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Secure by Design.
