IT in OT Specialist – Belfast, Full Time

Security Clearance: BPSS and Export Control checks, including criminal record check.

Location: Belfast site, full-time, on site only. No hybrid.

Work Hours: 36 hour week, flexible core hours, Friday off.

• Plan and carry out activities to ensure information systems inside production assets are well serviced.
• Deploy, configure, validate, schedule maintenance and reactively maintain machine software.
• Upgrade and dispose of business‑owned software, hardware, network devices and operating systems.
• Ensure cyber‑security of industrial assets at the Belfast site.
• Coordinate industrial asset outages during post‑merger integration.
• Maintain technical inventory, documentation and change management for relevant systems.
• Resolve incidents and provide escalation support when required.
• Manage demand for new IT/OT implementations.

• Experience in IT services/support within industrial environments (e.g., SCADA, HMI, numerical control).
• Knowledge of cyber‑security practices in industry and ability to assess physical/digital security.
• Experience installing security software, patches, and maintaining backups.
• Understanding of networking infrastructure, licensing and maintenance scheduling.
• Experience in planning, documenting and managing IT projects.
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems, legacy systems, and Google Workspace.
• Strong communication skills with IT professionals and end users.
