Overview
Register your interest for Version 1 s 2027 Digital Academy Programme. This is a register-your-interest opportunity for future academies across Version 1 locations. You will be contacted when an academy becomes available in your home location; please include your home location in your application to help us direct your submission.
Programme details- Full-time
- 12-week hybrid training academy with professional, industry-recognised certifications; you will receive a training allowance and pre-agreed salary uplifts to support development
- Academic and technical development delivered with our Early Careers Team and accredited providers
- The academy comprises: first 8 weeks of general learning across technologies and organisational concepts with mentorship from Version 1 mentors and senior technologists, plus sessions on presentation and customer-facing skills as part of a Design Thinking week; followed by dedicated weeks on Business Analysis & Project Management; and a final 4 weeks specialising in a technology (e.g., Java, .NET, Dev Ops, AWS)
- Upon graduation, an exclusive offer of permanent employment with real-world project experience within our customer base
- First 12 weeks are a paid training contract
- After successful completion of the 12-week Academy: final interview with potential permanent contract as an Associate Consultant
- Salary uplifts over the first 18 months (based on performance): 6 months – 5%; 12 months – 5%; 18 months – 10%
- Travel to other offices may be required (EU/UK); travel costs are covered by Version 1
Our Digital Skills Academies are open to college/university graduates, career changers, returners to the workforce, and individuals with technical skills who want to experience a culture of recognition and reward.
- Have a university degree classification of 2:2 in any ICT or STEM subject
- Strong problem-solving skills and persistence
- Passion for technology
- Eligible to work in the UK/ Ireland
- Willingness to travel across EU and UK to meet stakeholders and customers (travel costs covered by Version
1) - Bonus if you have previous IT work experience or have participated in a Tech Bootcamp/course
