Mainframe Security Consultant – RACF / ACF2

We’re looking for an experienced Mainframe Security Consultant on a contract basis to support our external clients with RACF and ACF2 expertise.

This consulting role focuses on strengthening access controls, improving compliance, and delivering targeted remediation across client z/OS environments.

You’ll advise, configure, and optimise RACF/ACF2 rulesets, run entitlement reviews, support audit activity, and guide clients through security‑related change, including access model updates, ruleset modifications, and controlled implementation of new standards.

The ideal contractor brings strong hands‑on mainframe security experience, deep knowledge of z/OS architecture, and confidence translating audit requirements into practical controls. Clear communication and client‑facing consulting skills are essential.
