In your role, you will help Intact Insurance make better decisions by turning data into clear, trusted insight. Your work supports performance improvement, regulatory confidence, and operational effectiveness by enabling colleagues to act with clarity and positivity. You add value by shaping how insight is understood and used across the business, helping teams focus on what matters most.

You’ll make an impact by:
  • Turning raw data into meaningful insight that informs decision making, improves performance, and supports regulatory and operational needs.
  • Sourcing, preparing, and analysing data from multiple systems to create reliable, well governed datasets that teams can trust.
  • Designing and maintaining scorecards, dashboards, and self serve datasets that enable timely and effective decisions.
  • Communicating insight through clear, actionable storytelling tailored to different audiences across the business.
  • Automating recurring analysis and report refresh cycles to improve efficiency and embed insight into everyday processes.
Your skills and experience:
  • Excellent capability in SQL including highly detailed queries, performance optimisation, and structured data analysis.
  • Experience with data modelling, ETL or ELT processes, and building reusable, well documented datasets.
  • Assurance applying analytical techniques to frame problems, test hypotheses, and quantify impact and uncertainty.
  • Ability to create intuitive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.
  • Able to automate and product ionise repeatable analytics, apply CI/CD practices to analytics assets, and optimise queries, models, and dashboards to improve performance and manage cost.
  • A collaborative approach to working with stakeholders to refine requirements, challenge assumptions, and deliver insight that drives outcomes.
