IT Systems Support Coordinator

Join the Public Sector in Belfast as an Operations Support (System Support) worker and play a key part in providing a broad range of ICT services across the organisation.

About the role:

£15.88 per hour
Location:

James House, Belfast
2 positions available
Immediate start
37.5 hours a week
Temporary role up until 30th November 2026

What you'll be doing in this role:

To carry out analysis, diagnosis and resolution of incidents.
To provide technical advice and guidance to a range of customers.
To build a close working relationship and develop an understanding of the needs of the Business System service users.
To develop an understanding of and provide technical advice to service users in relation to the operation of the Business Systems solution.
To follow the BSO ITS change, release, and configuration management processes.
To manage incidents and service requests ensuring prompt and appropriate escalation of incidents, service requests and the identification of problems.

What you'll need for this role:

A university degree in a computer science related discipline or equivalent recognised ICT professional qualification PLUS 1 years recent relevant experience. OR,
An HND in a computer science related discipline AND 2 years relevant experience. OR,
4 years relevant experience. (Relevant experience is defined as providing or supporting information and communications technology systems in a business environment. “Business environment” in this context includes ICT areas such as Application support and maintenance).
